Preinstall is your key to reliable data erasing. With Preinstall, ExpertEraser™ can be installed in advance by the computer manufacturer, so that the customer can carry out reliable data erasure on his or her PC simply by activating ExpertEraser™ from the hard disk. To prevent inadvertent erasing, ExpertEraser™ requires that you specify a unique password. Ibas guarantees that all your data will be 100 % erased, and the uniquely designed program Preinstall will even erase itself. Preinstall supports Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000 and XP.
Preinstall is simple to use and requires no special training. The erasure process is activated from a file - the PC then reboots the computer and the end user types in a password to initiate the erasing process. When the erasing is complete, Preinstall generates and stores an erasure-certificate on a diskette.
