Security key (10 with refill)
A tamper proof hardware device that is required to run the software. The key contains license information, record status and tracking information about each erasure. When all licenses in the key are used, the information will be returned when re-loading on the Ibas website. The recorded information will be stored in a secured central database.

Report file
This text file is created on the ExpertEraser™ floppy disk. The file contains detailed information about each erasure, as well as a copy of the status and tracking information stored in the security key (10 with refill). This information can be used to create certificates.

Documentation
You can print out a report from the ExpertEraser™ software. In addition to a statement saying the drive was erased properly, the document will contain status and tracking information.

The erased media
The last write pass of each erasure will record a block header in each block on the drive. The block header will contain status and audit information.
